If the answer is "Yes", then the following "September Specials" are a perfect fit for you.
Statistical Solutions Inc., is organizing a total of six hands-on RStudio workshops. The six hands-on workshops are designed to introduce RStudio to those who are looking to use R for applied statistical analyses tasks. The workshops will help participants understand the fundamentals of how R “operates” so that they can begin to use RStudio independently. All the workshops are organized by Mariola Moeyaert (Associate professor statistics). The instructor will share detailed content slides, practice data sets, and annotated R code with the participants.
An overview of the workshops, with a link to register, is provided below:
Introduction to the RStudio Statistical Computing Environment
Date: September 1, 2021; 11AM-3PM EST
General Workshop Description
This 4 hour hands-on workshop will be taught by Mariola Moeyaert, Ph.D, Associate professor of Statistics. through Zoom. Topics include importing and exporting data, data coding, cleaning and management, as well as how to perform basic descriptive statistical analyses and data visualizations.

6. Data Visualizations using RStudio
Date: October 6, 2021; 11AM-3PM EST
General Workshop Description
Data visualization is the quickest and most powerful technique to understand new and existing information. Exploratory data analysis (EDA) through visualizations marks the starting point of each data science project. The graphs produced during the EDA can inform which data analytic technique is best suitable. The data visualization can help communicating data science findings.
This workshop will guide you how to think about good data visualization. Through a series of worked out examples, you will learn how to use ggplot to make graphs piece by piece. The emphasis throughout is on acquiring a practical feel for and good judgement about the way ggplot can be used, from the simplest cases to sophisticated, highly customized data visualizations.
